Cannabis Card: Your Key to Obtaining Medical Marijuana in Las Vegas
Marijuana
has been used to treat certain illnesses since early 2737 B.C. However, the
Controlled Substances Act of 1970 made it illegal to obtain, possess,
cultivate, or use marijuana in the U.S. by classifying it as a Schedule I drug
or a drug that has the highest potential for abuse with no recognized medical
use. Today, marijuana
is legal in 25 states, according to the National Conference of State
Legislatures and a cannabis card is now obtainable in more than 22 states.
